This is quite possibly one of the cleanest stock 280zx's you'll find for sale. She looks
great, and runs even better. It does have a few flaws which are clearly shown in the
photos, but overall the car is in really awesome condition. Cruise control is working, all
digital gauges function properly, no cracks in the dash, no tears in seats, working factory
radio and the carpet has been replaced.
The A/C works extremely well and blows very cold.
We have been servicing this vehicle for the past 6 years and have all maintenance/repair
receipts. The customer has gone to extreme lengths to keep this car in such great shape.
Some of the maintenance and repairs are as follows:
At 98,000 miles the following items were replaced
-A/C system was completely overhauled with new Compressor, expansion valve and drier.
It was converted from the often faulty "auto air" to the more reliable manual air.
-The front end was restored with new strut inserts, ball joints, tension rod bushings,
control arm bushings, steering rack, steering rack bushings and engine mounts.
-New rear shocks, transmission mount and crossmember bushings.
-New battery cables
-New distributor
-Exhaust was re-done from the catalytic converter back.
At 127,000 miles
-Replaced the exhaust manifold and installed new studs.
-New brake master cylinder
-New Injector connectors

What you see here is one of the cleanest 240Z's you will ever find. It has undergone
a thorough restoration as well as some upgrades. The exterior is in pristine condition
with no rust, dents or scratches. As you can see from the pictures to the right the
interior is just as clean. All components under the car have also been removed,
cleaned and painted to prevent the forming of rust. The chassis has been coated
with truck bed liner to prevent rust and also acts as a sound deadening material.
She runs like a dream and has working carburetor choke as well as a manual throttle
lever which can be used like cruise control. The engine was rebuilt to factory
specifications, the engine block was painted with the original Datsun blue correct to
the era, a Mallory Unilite distributor was added for better performance as well as a
ceramic coated MSA 6 into 1 header that feeds into a 2 1/2" exhaust system.
To further improve the driving experience from this car 4 piston calipers were
swapped in front, as well as Hella H4 headlights with dedicated relays.
Inside you will see that this car has been upgraded further with a super cold blowing
Air Conditioning system, power windows that operate extremely smooth and power
door locks with a keyless entry system.
